LEAVE OF ABSENCE

Pupils should attend School regularly. Ninety percent (90%)attendance is necessary for promotion.

  1. Leave of absence is granted on a previous written application from parents or guardians but only for serious reasons.
  2. All are expected to attend School on the closing and reopening day after each of the vacations. Strict action will be taken against defaulters.
  3. Unexplained absence over a period of a week renders a pupil liable to have her name struck off the rolls. If she is re- admitted, the admission fee must be paid again.
  4. Pupils who have been recently suffering from or exposed to any infectious disease will not be allowed to attend School unless they bring an authorised/M.B.B.S. doctor's certificate to state that the period of quarantine is over. Serious action will be taken if children with measles, chicken pox, mumps or other contagious diseases are sent to School.
  5. Appointment with doctors, dentists etc. must not be arranged during School hours.
  6. In case of absence without leave, the pupil on returning to School must have the reason of absence entered and signed by parents or guardians on the Non-Attendance and Leave Record in the School Diary. The same should be signed by the Principal before she is allowed into the class.
  7. In case of absence due to illness, it is mandatory to submit authorised / MBBS doctor’s certificate with a photocopy of the prescription.
  8. Fine will be imposed on students who speak in Hindi in the campus and on those who are absent on the first and last days of reopening and closing of School.
